We are never better than the products we sell, or the suppliers we do business with. We know this for a fact. And that is why, we have such high expectations.

First and foremost, we demand from our suppliers, that all products are grown in a sound and environmentally safe manner, and that all conceivable precautions regarding the use of pesticides and hygiene are taken.

We demand:

• That suppliers provide spraying logs indicating exactly when and with what products have been treated.
• That products undergo ongoing laboratory analysis to secure all rules and regulations are complied with.
• That products are traceable, making it possible to track a given product back to the place of production.
• That our packaging is pvc-free, and that suppliers not use gene modified materials in their production.

And many other things...

Additionally, we place demands for product ripeness, colour, taste, size and appearance - well aware, that we are dealing with natural products, and that weather conditions may mean, we must revise these from time to time.

The vast majority of our suppliers have elected to become certified in order to guarantee a uniform and high standard production. The most common certifications are: ISO, HACCP, EUREP-GAP and BRC.
